Sunday Worship Service & Sunday School:
|Wednesday Bible Study:||10:00am|
For our Angel Tree this year we will be collecting new unwrapped toys for all ages, gift certificates, warm hats, and warm gloves for our friends at Urban Christian Ministries. UCM has over 50 years of serving the community of Buffalo with youth programs, bible studies and block basketball clubs. They have a food pantry and a free front porch clothing ministry. Last year they were very short on toys to hand out at their holiday party to needy families. I know our church won't let that happen this year!!! Bring in your new unwrapped toy or winter item and put it by the tree in the sanctuary by December 17th. There will be a box to drop your gift cards in. If you can't shop but still want to help write your check out to the church, and in the memo mark UCM and someone on the team can shop for you!! Let's fill the tree in the sanctuary for the kids at Urban Christian Ministries!
My family has been blessed to be part of the church family for 20+ years. The love that has enveloped us through the happy times and difficult moments of our lives is a true blessing.
From our first visit to FPCEA I knew we’d found our spiritual home. There are A LOT of families with children, so there are opportunities with Sunday School classes, youth choir and Youth Group meetings for kids to have a positive church experience, similar to what I had growing up. These kids are involved in so many organizations throughout East Aurora, bringing the positive messages and lessons learned at FPCEA with them!
When we moved to the East Aurora area and were searching for a new church home, we looked for a few things: a multi-generational worship community; support for local as well as global missions; friendly, welcoming people; and a music program where we could contribute and develop our gifts. We found all of this at First Presbyterian Church.
For the website: I have been a longtime member of the East Aurora First Presbyterian Church, and I treasure the dear friends that I have had. We have had many new families with children in recent years, and these are wonderful treasures, too.
