Presbyterian Women

Presbyterian Women (PW) is an independent organization within the Presbyterian Church which includes all women of our church. It is the largest social group in our church. The programming and resource options for our group offers women in the church meaningful ways to live out their faith in the midst of a caring community of women. Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves

  • to nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study,
  • to support the mission of the church worldwide,
  • to work for justice and peace,
  • and to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)
  • and witnesses to the promise of God’s kingdom.

Our primary purpose is one of local, regional, national, and worldwide mission. Our primary fund drive is our yearly Fall Bazaar -- a time for strengthening our friendships, as well as purpose driven mission. What fun we have every January when we decide which meaningful missions we will support.
